For over 25 years Brent Steelman has earned a reputation for successfully outfitting cycling enthusiasts worldwide. Bicycles bearing the Steelman name are known for their fit, precision, comfort, and inspired performance. Brent makes triathlon, road, track, touring, mountain, cyclo-cross, time trial and woman specific bikes out of steel and Carbon fiber. Steelman frames are handmade in Redwood City, CA.













Retrotec (curved tube) and Inglis (straight tube) Bikes are handmade in Napa, CA by Curtis Inglis. Working with steel, Inglis makes some amazing designs including the retro looking Classic, Double and Triple (seen here).

Curtis was responsible for bringing the Single Speed World Championships to Napa this year and raced on a custom made girls bike.








Soulcraft, based in Petaluma CA, was started by Salsa orphans Matt Nyiri and Sean Waller. Their goal is simple, to make sweet bikes for people who ride and have fun doing it. They achieve this by treating their customers like friends. They make a variety of bikes including hardtail geared and single speed bikes and road and cross bikes as well.









Since 1992 Sycip has been designing and building custom rides for S.F. messengers to World Class Racers and everyone in between.

Calfee Designs makes handmade frames in La Selva Beach, CA. Craig Calfee has always been interested in working with alternative materials. He was making carbon frames way before they were standard issue. Now he's building road and mountain bikes frames out of bamboo. Not only are they strong and beautiful, they are renewable as well!










Rivendell's mission is to make things that wouldn't be made if they weren't here, to offer an alternative to racing-centric bikes and parts, and to espouse a different approach to riding. And to resurrect and keep healthy many of the better ideas, designs, and styles of bicycles, clothing, and accessories that they personally like to use or wear.

Marin Bikes was established in 1986 in San Anselmo, California and celebrates its 24th anniversary this year. Its offices lie in the shadow of Mt. Tamalpais, commonly referred to as the birthplace of mountain biking and still at the heart of the sport.

On advice from his doctor, founder Robert Buckley rode a mountain bike to help heal a nagging knee injury and quickly became passionate about the sport. He founded Marin Mountain Bikes upon this passion and remains dedicated to the pursuit of the ultimate cycling experience. After 24 years Buckley remains at the helm of Marin, directing daily operations and is the creative drive behind the brand.








Ahrens Bicycles was started in San Jose, CA in 1996 by Mike Ahrens. Mike builds steel and aluminum frames for mountain, cross and road riders. Ahrens also makes some essential bike tools such as the WiseCracker, a bottle opener that slips between your headset and stem. Ahrens is making a run of Biketoberfest Commemorative WiseCrackers, which will be available at the event for $20.









Paragon Machine Works products are proudly manufactured on site in the United States of America. All of our products are machined; nothing is stamped, cast, forged, water jet or laser cut. We specialize in products made from aluminum, stainless steel, steel, titanium and plastic.








WTB has been making the best Mt. bike tires and components in Marin County since 1982. Over the past 27 years WTB has done more than most to push for better Mt. bike components such as brakes (Roller Cam 1984), frame geometry (Trek 8000 series 1987, Phoenix, 1993) tires and saddles (VelociRaptor tires and SST saddle, 1994) and most recently, WTB was the first company to make a production 29er tire.
