All rides leave at 10 am* from the Ride Registration Booth across the street at the Java Hut.

Ride with Mountain bike pioneers Otis Guy and Charlie Kelly through Tamarancho and down a famous fire road. The trails at Camp Tamarancho were build for the Boy Scouts by the Bicycle Trails Council of Marin. The trails at Tamarancho represent some of the best single track in the Bay Area.

When: Leaves at 10 am
Ride fee: $10 +$5 for a Tamarancho day pass (2008 pass holders do not need to pay the $5 fee)

Poker Run
Poker Run, A benefit for Drake High NorCal Team
Tamarancho

Head out on a mountain bike loop at Camp Tamarancho above Fairfax and stop at five dealer locations along the trail to collect one card at each. Then head back down to Biketoberfest and play your hand for prizes! Leave anytime between 10 am and 12 noon. This ride will benefit the Drake High Team of the NorCal High School Mt. Bike League. About the ride: Camp Tamarancho is a 9-mile singletrack loop a in the hills above Fairfax. The trails are narrow and there are soem techincal sections. This ride requires a annual pass or a day pass, which can be purchased at the registration table.

Who: Women ages 15+ with at least 1 year of riding experience, beginner to advanced skills, racers and non-racers welcome.
 
What: Exclusive clinic limited to 10 women, hosted by Marla Streb and Team LUNA Chix.  Two hours of skills building with Marla and Team LUNA Chix; 1.5 hour Tamarancho ride with the Bay Area Team LUNA Chix and a hosted lunch with Marla Streb at Biketoberfest.
 
When: Saturday October 10th 8:30 am - 1:30pm
 
Where:  Meet at Red's Java Hut adjacent to Biketoberfest venue
 
Cost:  $110 which covers the clinic, ride, lunch and a special gift bag from the Breast Cancer Fund and Team LUNA Chix.  This clinic is limited to 10 women and will sell out.  Register by September 18th and you will have a free entry in the raffle to win Team LUNA Chix gear! All proceeds go to Breast Cancer Fund (
www.breastcancerfund.org). You will need to purchase a pass to ride at Tamarancho. 
 
About Marla Streb A member of the Team LUNA Chix Professional Mountain Biking team, Marla has won multiple national and international downhill, super d, and single-speed events.  An accomplished author, Marla has written one book, "Downhill: The Life Story of a Gravity Goddess" and is currently working on another, "The Road Century."
